False positives of security software

Security software block Floorp

You may receive a warning from Windows Defender or security software, for example, when Floorp starts up.

If the binary is from official, this warning is a false positive.
Anyone can audit Floorp’s internal, because Floorp’s codes and build environment are public in GitHub.

Software from small communities is often misinterpreted as malicious software.

If a warning is displayed

It is hard to prevent false positives from Floorp team.
If you found some false positives, please contact your security software support.
